Cappellini Furniture was founded in 1946 in Arosio by Enrico Cappellini. As an avant-garde furniture manufacturer, under the management of Enrico's son Giulio, the company transformed its fortunes with a knack for detecting young talent and acting as a springboard to launch their careers. Designers who have benefitted from this include Tom Dixon, Jasper Morrison, Marc Newson, Marcel Wanders, Ross Lovegrove and the Bouroullec brothers - to name just a few.
