Designed by Charles & Ray Eames in 1950, the Vitra DSW (Dining Side Wood) Eames Plastic Side Chair is one of the most iconic chairs of all time.
Moulded to fit the contours of the human body, the Eames DSW chair is highly comfortable, practical and versatile for any room in your home. As the first industrially-manufactured plastic chair, the DSW chair was originally produced in collaboration with Zenith Plastics for the Museum of Modern Art's Low Cost Furniture Design Competition.

Materials & finishes
The Vitra DSW chair has a polypropylene seat shell, dyed through with a base in dark maple. Other wood finishes and felt glides for hard floor use are available on request.
