Designed in 1958 by Norman Cherner the moulded plywood Cherner side chair is the companion to the classic Cherner armchair.

The Cherner chair is the quintessential dining chair. Cherner chairs are built to be handed down from generation to generation.

The Cherner Chair Company produces the designs of Norman Cherner and Benjamin Cherner. Made in the USA, the Cherner collection utilises moulded plywood, laminated wood and bent wood technologies to produce furniture recognised worldwide for quality and sustainability.

Materials & finishes
The seat is made of laminated plywood of graduated thickness, from 15 plys to 5 plys at the thin edge of the shell. Reissued in exacting detail from the original drawings and moulds, the side chair is strong, lightweight and like the original, made entirely in the U.S.A.
