Description
Designed by the award-winning Polish designer Oskar Zieta. These amazing steel chairs are constructed using FiDU a process invented by Zieta which allows for complex lightweight and weight-bearing objects to be formed. The design for the Chippensteel 0.5 Chair is cut out of very thin steel, the edges are then welded together and once this has been completed high-pressure water and air is forced into the stool and the Chippensteel is inflated - like a balloon. This process ensures that each of the Chippensteel 0.5 Chairs is an individual Sculpture. The chairs are extremely strong and surprisingly light
