Our light is a sturdy friend, unpretentious and always there for us. 

Ilse Crawford chose honest materials that carry clear messages: iron for its feelings of stability, reliability, trust; wood with its warmth and life, and mineral plastic for its intimate glow, as well as its tactility. When put together three three materials create a certain oddness. This is because there is an innate awkwardness in the directional light that they wanted to amplify. Dimmable table lamp. Slightly transparent shade hides the light source for glare protection. Two joints, an adjustable head and a rotation mechanism in the base. Electronic components integrated.

Materials & Finishes
The base is made of sand-casted iron, that is treated with burnt vegetable oil. The arms are made of beach, the joints of die-castaluminum and the shade is made of injection moulded chalk / glass / PBT.
