Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec have reinvigorated the whole idea of the sofa with the Hay Can Sofa. Something inherently complicated has been transformed into something simple, relaxed and for everyone.

The HAY Can Sofa comes flat-packed and is assembled at home. You get it quicker and in a simpler way as it is easier to transport and takes up less space. The idea of the name Can is that “you can”, “you can make it”, just don’t be afraid. Maybe the sofa will raise the fear “can I do this?”, “is it going to be right?” So, it is implemented into the name itself, just don’t be afraid, it will work.

Materials & finishes
Frame available in grey or black powder coated steel with black strap and outer canvas in grey or army colour. Seat and back cushions are upholstered in either Hay Surface fabric in Light Grey (120) or Army Canvas fabric.
